This is the Introductions forum.
Ask the folks in the Classic & Vintage forum. They know all about old bikes.

Those were some of the lighter rims available in the 80s. They were also kind of soft and didn't stand up too well. If they were built on a top name hub they'd probably fetch $100-$200 on Ebay, but the mid-level Suntour stuff on those wheels (while really very good quality) isn't highly sought after and probably limits value quite severely.

In your shoes, I wouldn't throw them away, but I probably wouldn't offer them on Ebay where shipping is liable to double (or more) the cost to the buyer. Either Craigslist or into the rafters, to await the day when they're needed.
