Greetings BF'ers
Hello, my name is Joe,
I'm new here, and am getting back into biking. I recently bought a Schwinn World Sport at Good Will for $25. Am looking to completely restore it to ride and will eventually sell it. I'm looking for info to help me do this. I could use your advice on what forum to use.
I cannot find the history behind the World Sport, only a few lines written here and there. Is there something more comprehensive to read on the history of this bike?
I toured the Chicago Schwinn factory when I was a lad in 1972 and always rode Schwinn bikes. My goal is to find and possibly restore a Paramount. I know that there are better bikes out there but growing up I always drooled over the "high end" Schwinn bikes. So, with my initial investment of $25 I figured now is as good a time as ever to use my skills and see what I can accomplish while having fun doing it.
Thanks,
Joe
