Wow, I can't believe I just saw somebody from Castle Rock! I'm also new to this site and live in Castle Rock, I have been itching to go riding badly, but the weather has been so nasty plus I'm just too darn lazy.
I just bought a "good" mtn bike last summer and didn't get but maybe 100 miles on it before the weather got bad. I can't wait to get back on it.
Have you ridden Growler's Gulch yet? I've heard it is the best trail around Longview/Castle Rock area. I rode up there once but I took my bike instead of my car so by the time I got there I was too pooped to even think about looking for the trail.
Anyway feel free to email me...I would love to have a riding partner...
