Beginner's Ride
Well, I've gone and done it. Have no idea and no knowledge but I went and gone and did it.
I've kicked a ball (soccer), run like Forest Gump (marathons) and now...Lord help me seems like a Century ride just might be fun to add to the bucket list.
And when you look up "newbie" in the dictionary, there's my picture.
Experience: I have a sum total of one week on the internet (researching starter cycles). Going for (and I mean literally) my first ride to get to know the cycle (Trek 1.2) I bought yesterday off Craigslist (remember the Lord help me part)...
I will need your help and you consul with all due gratitude in any way you may like.
so, here goes

Congrats and happy riding. Since you're a newbie, get to know a quality LBS in your area to help you out should you get stuck with any problems/issues/adjustments with your bike that you can't figure out on your own.
