New from Kingwood, TX
Hey all, I just moved here from North Cali, and I miss it terriably. I lived up around 5k feet, so I had all the mountain trails I wanted, and not to mention the snow riding. Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and I am glad to be a member of a great, informative forum.
Thanks

Welcome to the forums. I'm sure you're experiencing some sort of "shock" coming from
Northern California to the flatness of southeast Texas. We do have some great mtb trails here. You just have to drive a few miles to get to them. Some of the best can be found west of Austin, the green belt trail in Austin, anywhere in the Hill Country. One site I always like to pass along is https://www.bicycletexas.com. The guy that set this site up has a fairly comprehensive listing of statewide road clubs, road rides, mtb clubs & links. Another site is https://www.tmbra.org.
If I may be so bold as to ask...what brings you here?
Hope you enjoy your time here at any rate.
