hey, i just found this forum. i'm from philadelphia and looking to find some longer rides to do ( possibly come spring). is anyone from the area?

i imagine you probably go to the wiss. and or belmont. for longer rides you gonna have to look at the jim thorpe area and poconos (never been my self) delaware has nice trail systems maryland and a few in jersey try mtbr.com and hit theire trail review link

Road? Mtb? What level? Bike Club of Philadelphia, Suburban Cyclists Unlimited, Central Bucks Bike Club, Delaware Valley Bike Club, White Clay Bike Club...all offer rides at lots of levels, plus "event" rides--centuries and metrics. A couple of guys in SCU are monsters, if you want *really* long rides.

Hey from one Philly rider to another. Looks like you don't do cold weather either. Well, I can go down to about 40 degrees. Anyway....what do you mean by long ride? Roadie? MTB?
