Rural USA
Hi everyone. I live in a small, rural town in the middle of the High Plains. I commute year round on my retired-from-the-trail '98 Trek 7000zx. My family (wife and 2 young kids) recently went from SUV and car, to just car, and now we are trying to go car-free. We've been living car-free for 2 months. We'll see how this winter goes!
Looks like lots of great info and experiences here!
Here's my ride. Notice significant top-tube dent, it's been stable for 2 years. I think it'll last forever.

My wife has an old department store ride with BIG Wald baskets. We tote the baby in a trailer. I'll post pics of them soon.

10 Wheels - Thanks!
1nterceptor - I watched your gridlock vid, impressive! It would be unusual for me to see even 1 car on my commute, zero is the norm.
