Hello from Bangkok!
Hi all, I've just splashed out on a nice new Marin out here in Bangkok, I've spent 4 happy weeks getting used to riding a nice bike again after a 10+ year absence but now my passion for upgrading is getting hold of me!
I would eventually like to upgrade pretty much everything, the stock gear is ok but I can tell it's not very durable and will wear and tear very quickly.
I'll be posting several requests for info in the coming weeks and months & I hope some of you can help me - I used to ride when I was growing up in the UK, I mostly had Marins so I couldn't resist trying a newer model out!
I currently ride a Marin Palisades Trail 2011 and it's lovely to ride, I'm having a few issues with the drivetrain though, there's a massive gap between pushing my foot on the pedal and the actual delivery of power, that'll be my first post, so I@m off to do just that now!
Thanks in advance for any help you lot can offer
