new road bike rider
hi all, live in corpus christi tx, hope to have my new bike before christmas. just put a 2011 giant defy advance 3 on lay-a-way at my local bike store, figured after looking around it was the best deal local. been riding a specialized hard rock comp for 6years now but started riding with some road bike guys and after about 6miles it gets hard to keep up with them so figured now's the time to get my first road bike.

I bought my 1st new road bike on lay-away.
I was not in shape and was riding an 23 yr old bike.
I got it out Early as it was a perfect fit for me.
The old bike was tall enough but had a short reach to the bars and I also liked the 175 crank arms compared to the old 165's.
