Some Dutch Guy

Hi all,
I am a bicycle-commuter for almost 3 years now, I did visit the archive-forums by the search engines alot the last year(s). For whatever reason I never looked at the main site (sorry ), but english is also not my main language.

I started cycling to get a better health mainly, and I didn't do much sports for like 20 years.
A 18km single trip to work was quite hard work but I knew it was a temporary thing.
I did follow through and after a few months I was fit enough to commute every working day and even sold my car. (I still have my motorbike for longer trips)

I started with an old crappy heavy (24kg !) Dutch citybike, that almost everyone has here.
Then later I bought a Hybride/cross bike and 2 months ago I did build up an audax bike with fenders and a drop bar.

Rob.
