Gettin' Started?
I guess, I'm the luckiest person on the planet, I live in Redland Bay, which is paradise, Queensland, life is good, I ride a bike because I can, the weather is great, "ALL THE TIME" I get three good meals a day, the cops don't want me for anything bad, in fact I have several of them as good mates (no names no pack drill)?
My wife puts up with me, she's a "Champion Lady" and makes great cakes and apple pies!
My sons think I'm the best dad, the Grandchildren think I'm the best Poppy "IN THE WORLD".
So what more could a man want, I can play in cyberspace and have fun doing it, without leaving the comfort of my chair.
I haven't even started telling you how good everything is yet but that can wait till another day.
That should be enough to give some of you lovely people out there the pips.
I'm just a nice all round good guy, sickening is'nt it? yo all come back now?

Gooday Mate, funny you should ask, but almoast never, the reason is I ride and always have with "Tuffy" inserts in the tyres, something I would recomend to anyone, who hates the puncture stops.
On my training bike I also have 28c tyres with big bags just so that when you inflate them they still maintain a good wall thickness of possibly 75microns even when fully inflated, this makes them puncture resistent.
Now having said that only last wednesday I was out along the Bay and low and behold I started to feel the deadly bumpety bump on the back wheel, it was a softening tyre for sure and the culprit was a screw, a stainless steel screw of all things, brand new as well, self tapper and it certainly self tappered my back tyre by going in through the side wall of the tyre right beside the "Tuffy".
Anyhow, being well used to this sort of stuff, it only took me a couple of minutes to change the B*#@*? thing, I always carry a couple of spare tubes, less than ten minutes I was on my way and not only that didn't get my hands dirty. I know , I know, it's enough to give you the S*#t's but that's life in the big world, having fun is what it's all about, keep the wheels in motion, Daotenac?

G'Day Irzipris, Mate I got this out of order, talking about flats, and in my excitement to give you a smart answer back, forgot to address the reply with the appropriate name,
any way I've now rectified the mistake so read this and accept my apology for not getting it right in the first place, just goes to show you what happens when you get past a certain age, it's called "old timers disease".
Your local bike shop should have the "TUFFY" or similar brand, sorry if you already know about them, I'm amazed how many people here do not?
I see riders almost weekly walking along side a cycle and have stopped and given them one of my spares to get them home, so far, "Touch Wood" I've never been let down by them not returning the spare tube, one guy sent me a completely new one and the letter of thanks was something to treasure, no kidding. Catch yer round, wheel good? Daotenac

G'Day Ritz, Although I was, as a kid an angellic chior boy, with a beautiful soprano voice, I used to go to church because I was forced to, if you know what I mean. Church has never been my scene, mainly because of the people who gather there, some bend the knee on Sunday and forget what and how they are supposed to act throughout the week?
However with the loss of two grandchildren a couple of years ago I became a born again Christian, he is my lord and saviour, and I'm one of his protected, chosen people, no kidding, he travels with me always, I fear not the "tintop idiots" for he is with me all the way?
By the way I too have a four Indain "Ringneck Parrots", (mum "Willy" and dad "Goldy" and two baby's, "Ollie", boy and "Babygoldbird" girl "hand reared"), four "Cockateils" two boys two girls and one "Sun Conure" boy, he's my shoulder mate, and don't you get near me or he'll rip your head off, he attacks my wife whenever he gets a chance? who's a naughty boy then?
