Hi from Missouri
I got into biking through circumstances joining forces with need. Found an older Schwinn (70's Varsity) and a Western Flyer 26" road bike in a barn. Being a tinkerer by nature, I took them home and restored them. After I got the Varsity sorted out and rideable, my pickup quit on me, so I started riding back and forth to work. Now, I hardly drive anywhere anymore. I've managed to lose several unwanted lbs. and am in better condition than I've been in for yrs. I have really developed a love of bicycles, especially vintage ones. Hope to soon add Campangolo running gear to the Schwinn. Life just looks different from a bike, and I'm going to enjoy it.
