43/feel old/want to feel young again! Nashville, TN
Hello,
I'm ready to get back into biking. I just bought a mid-eightys Shogun 500 road bike and have had fun getting it ready for the road. I'm obsesive and shopped around for a road/touring/hybrid/??? to buy new and could not find anything under $800 that foated my boat- so I decided to buy a bike like one I put thousands of miles on back in High School. I need to put a little longer stem (I mean a stem that moves the handle bars farther front on the bike ) and don't know what size my bike takes ( I'm guessing 110mm). So, here I am on this forum hoping to ask some "dum" questions and get some smart answers. Enough for now. Heres a picture of the new bike. It seems to be in great shape. Hello to all- Have a great ride!

Welcome! Nice looking bike. Yeah that stem is a little tight.
