G'day from northern australia
Hi. have been into cycling for some ten years now, for commuting and fitness etc, and am looking to do some touring as my work roster will now allow time for such activities and also my children are now grown up.
In the past i have only had time to do two or three day trips, but now i have in the plan to ride the gibb river road and then another trip from halls creek up the duncan highway then back to kununurra.
I've joined BF to hopefully gain knowledge of cycle touring from other cyclist stories and experiences and perhaps to oneday teeup to do some tours with other cyclist out there.
And to make friends to swap photos and experiences etc with.
My proffessional life won't allow for me to go touring for years on end, but i certainly am able to plan trips of 6-8 weeks, providing i have enough prior planning time to organise time off work
