who has recommedations on where to sell awesome bikes?
Hi there. I stumbled on this forum when I was researching a bike I have owned and LOVED. It is a 2002 Bianchi SL Alloy Reparto Corse. I absolutely love this bike. It was my favorite companion for 2 years until I realized it was slightly undersized for me and was hurting my knees. I now have a bigger Titanium Serrotta... which feels a bit like riding a lincoln town car instead of a porsche roadster. I stripped the Bianchi of it its Campi componenets and wheels and transfered those to my new Serrotta. Then I replaced all the components and set the bianchi up for my daughter in hopes that she would fall in love with road biking as I had. Alas... she does not share my same compasssion for flying down a country road on a celeste green rocketship. Soooo... after she rode it 3 times.... it became a decoration in the corner of my basement. I am very sad... because this bike is a beauty. My reason for writing is this. I have posted it on craigs list several times and the bargain hunters want it for a song. I am just not willing to give it away to someone who does not value this bike. I had $2300 in it the first time around and put a thousand dollars of all brand new components on board when I switched it over for my daughter. Does anyone have a recommendation about better sites for selling good bikes? I
