Hello From Cape Cod

My name is Rick I was born in Plymouth MA.
I now live on Cape Cod with my lovely Wife her 4 cats and my 5 bikes I recently joined here because I came across a Gold colored Univega Gran Premio bicycle and was wondering what year it possible could be . it is in excellent shape the guy I bought it from said after he bought it he hurt himself and didn't even get to put 20 miles on it and from the looks of the tires and condition of everything else I say he was telling the truth

Too right! AND we get together and ride the CCRT now and again.
The down tube shifter boss makes it an 84/85 (I can't remember which) and the tubing decal on the seat tube identifies it as one of the bikes that Miyata made for Univega.

Is that a good thing Top Did Myata make decent frames ..from the looks of this one they did a good job, there is a double tube where most companies put a single tube going to the crank housing. Even my 1995 100th anniversary Schwinn has a single tube there I thought the Schwinn was smooth till I rode this one

Might you mean the Cape Cod Rail Trail? by CCRT?

Yep, that's the one.
You really should give this bike it's own thread on C&V. There are several posters on the Cape, and many more in the metro Boston area that get down there from time to time.
And yes, the Miyata connection is a very good thing.
