Good afternoon my name is Erick and I live in Indianapolis, I've been riding since early this year. My brother is a pretty big bike enthusiast and after a few rides with him on my old Schwinn he gave me a 1980's Motobecane that has been converted to fixed (He converted it) that our family has had since the early 90's or so. I've been riding and commuting on it for quite awhile now, and am now looking into buying a more "sporty" fun fixed gear bike when I have available funds.
Oh yeah and I absolutely positively hate driving.

Welcome, lots of good stuff here, although I still ain't figured the search engine out. I did my military schooling at Ft. Ben Harrison, used to swim in Geist reservoir, and grew up upstate near Chicago. 'Nap town is cool!
