I decided to buy a Litespeed Vortex while I still have good legs, I ride around 10,000 km a year and am lucky enough to live within riding distance to the Niagara Escarpment cuz I like to climb.
Ive never seen a Moose on a ride chicharron, but I have been hit by a Bobcat.
How about yourself? I bet youve cought some nice tailwinds in tornado alley...eh?

We get more ice storms around here than tornados. (although we've had some deadly tornados in the spring) People hit a lot of deer on the highways in the suburbs and outlaying areas, believe it or not. I do a lot of riding back and forth to work, and on some urban bike trails. There is a trail that is marked that goes through down town Kansas City that takes you down to the Missouri river and to a paved bike trail along the river front park. Its about a ten mile ride each way. I ride a Fuji 21 speed hybrid.

I've seen moose in Algonquin Park and during my Round Lake Huron tour I came within 30 feet of a bear crossing the road. We looked at each other, I waved and we both kept going as fast as we could!

I am not from Ontario, but I did visit Monteral earlier this year. I fell in love with the bike-friendly city. Vintaged bikes were everywhere. I particularly loved the ride along the canal. I did not bring my bike, but I rented one for a couple of hours and haul
ed my 6 year old son along.

Greeting all. I am a newbie here. There seem to be an awful lot of you to get to know but I think I am up to the task.
