Bikes: Looking for a nice not very expensive low step through bike

Hi from Las Vegas NV

I want to get back into the world of bicycle riding. I am 54, injured my left knee a few years ago which hampered my ability to ride, and walk for that matter. Now I am ready to get back into riding, but my current old bike is too difficult to ride, the bar being so high. I just cannot get on the bike anymore. My husband is 62 and still has no problem getting on his bike, even with the high bar. I bet that will change as he gets older.
I am in the market for a new bike, a low step through type. I hope to find out a lot of information in here. It looks like a great group.

welcome LT.
Stop by the 50+ forum and introduce yourself. I'm one of them, I'm 67. We'll give you some "excellent" advice on picking just the right bike.

As a former resident of LV, I recommend a bike that gives you the ability to ride off of the roads.
