Nearly died, from Georgia

I thought I was in good shape but having nearly died a year ago from a heart attack I decided I needed to get in some cardio. Once I was taken off the Plavics I was allowed to get a bike. I am now up to 20 miles every day after work. This biking is kind of fun. Started out with a mountain bike (Trek Wahoo) but found myself riding on the road more than trail so I got a hybrid (Trek FX 7.5). So now I have two. I am considering adding a touring bike now (Trek 520). Thinking about commuting since gas is headed back up.

Been browsing for a while figured I could learn more if I could ask questions so I joined.

Welcome aboard! I'm glad it sounds you're doing better too! Just a warning... judging from your bike evolution a real road bike comes after the touring bike....

Welcome Piratebike.
Stop by the Southeast Regional subforum and say hello to the locals.
