Chris from south central USA

I've been riding mountain bikes since 1995. I was in the south Florida area and my first bike was a Trek 830 which lasted me six years. Afterwards I moved to Louisiana in 2004and rode a Trek 4300. Over the span of two years I rode the thing into the ground and purchased a Gary Fisher Piranha in the summer of 2006. After the frame cracked in2008 I purchased a Trek 6000 at the height of the Great Recession and still ride it today. This is the bike I learned on how to do my own repairs and upgrades instead of relying on bike shops.
