New from Cincinnati!

Hey all,

I finally joined BikeForums, there are just some bikes that are too new for TheCABE, or RatRod bikes. I'm more interested in riding, than just collecting. If you can't ride the bike, what fun is it?

I've collected bikes since I was in elementary school, and now the oldest is a 1903 Chainless, up to a late 70s Peugeot. My most recent project was a 1923 Mead Ranger updated for commuting with an internally geared Nexus 8, and a dynamo/drum from Sturmey Archer up front.

Here are a few bikes for your enjoyment!

1923 Mead Ranger

1934 Packard Racer (Schwinn Built)

1975 Raleigh Gran Sport

1941 Elgin

Hey,

Those are velocity rims, so now it's got a modern clincher wheelset to ride with the old components down to a skiptooth sprocket and lockring that fit the modern fixed gear hub. It has a set of white tires on it now.
