New member from South Texas
 

Hi guys,

I live in the Rio Grande Valley and currently riding a Schwinn mountain bike I've turned into a commuter with street tires, fenders, lights, and a rack. My commute to college is only about a 2.5 miles or so roundtrip but I ride everywhere I can on it: the LBS, Walmart International House of Worship, etc.

I've lurked around for a while now and thought I'd finally register. Thanks for all the great information. I'll contribute what I can.
