Because Biking is Awesome!
Hi everyone!
So I'm very never really been a part of any online community but I've decided to take on a pretty epic challenge this summer and some friends recommended I give it a try. After I graduate in May I will be volunteering for Bike and Build which means I'll be biking across the country from SC to Santa Cruz, California to raise money and awareness for affordable housing. I've been road biking for a long time but didn't start racing till last year on my school team. I also didn't get bike shoes and clips till last year either. So not a whole lot of experience but I love every moment i spend on my bike. I'm hoping this site will be a good place to go for help/support preparing for this journey! Im in the fundraising stage right now if you've had any great fundraising successes please tell me I would love to hear about them.
