Hello from Houston! :D
Hey everyone, I got an '85 Trek 420 when I was in Sacremento visiting my gf's family. Her grandpa got it from his neighbor who was a serious bike rider and gave it to me for the price of shipping back down to H-town. Since it's been tuned by my local bike shop (Bike Lane) I've really enjoyed riding it! Hope to have all my future questions answered on this forum, thanks!

Yes I added the yellow tape and I would like to get some brake hoods as the originals have deteriorated and are covered with duck tape.

Welcome to BF; and thank you for putting your location in your introduction title. That makes it musch easier to decide who to respond to. Not that I am a recluse or anything, but with this being such a huge forum, it is nice to be able to respond to those who are at least semi-close (600 miles and in the same state) to oneself.
