hello from the tenderloin, SF
 

A fixed gear newbie, I have a 1999 KHS AERO TRACK. I live in the tenderloin district of San Francisco, manage a building, I'm a screen printer (tees, posters, etc.) and I have plenty of free time to ride. If you're in or around the tl in sf and wanna hook up for a ride (with a newbie) hit me up.

Back in the 1970's, I lived in a "youth hostel', called the Post Club, located at Post St. and Taylor, right next the the little chinese liqour store. Do you know if it's still there? I was In my 20's and single, traveling around, and looking for work and an apartment in San Francisco. But I cannot imagine anyone choosing to actually stay in the tenderloin.(yuck)

I didn't live here before the .com boom, but from what the locals tell me, and who owns what round these parts, it got bought up quick and flipped for quadruple or more. A studio in my bldg is $900, some of the TL has changed.

yo, the new TL market is the *****. i used to get my booze there when i was 19 and squatting in sf.

But does anybody know if the Post Club is still there on Post St? And what about the Town and Country Market ant Taylor and Post St.? A friend of mine used to play in a salsa band at a night club in the Mission Area, called Caesers Latin Palace.Is it still there?

I will see if the Post Club is there next time I go by. I don't know about Caesers though.
