Hello everyone
 

I used to ride BMX about ten years ago and got out of riding for a long time. I recently decided that I needed to start exersizing regularly again and decided riding is my best bet. I just picked up a road bike a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it very much.

Congrats on the new bike...I just picked up the exact bike 3 days ago. Been on two rides and it has been great...far exceeding what i expected...it will definitely motivate you to exercise. I got mine on a close out deal and figured i needed a backup bike for fall riding and occassional different ride from my primary bike...so ran into a good deal, conjured up a preceived need, scored the bike. Based on reasearch i knew it was a pretty good bike; however, bike surprized me in several different areas in which it definitely exceeded my expectations ... smoothness and decending the two biggest. Again, enjoy and congrats...very nice bike.

Thanks. I tested several bikes before buying and the CR1 was the clear winner. I wanted a SRAM equipped bike but the deal on this one was too good to pass up.

I was planning to just buy the bike and ride it stock. I am finding that this a very addictive sport and I'm already pricing out new groups and wheels. :o
