What a great website! I just discovered it today and have spent quite a bit of time going over some of it's forums, especially the 50+ ones.
I am 57, married to a wonderful woman (non-biker but huge supporter) father of five daughters ( all grown and gone ) and I live here in southern Maine. I have always had a bike throughout my life however 15 or so years ago I started being a little more serious. I purchased a Cannondale t400 in 1996 and still have it and still love it.
I stayed off my bike last year because.......well I guess I have to admit it, I got too fat and too lazy. So I put it downstairs just today along with my minoura trainer and I'm ready to get back on the road,
I'm looking forward to your training and nutrition hints and also motivations.
Thanks for a great site.....

Hi,
I used to live in Gorham. Check out Specialized's Bar Phat. You can see it at Cyclemania. There is a group ride that leaves the USM Gorham parking lot; I think it's Sundays in the summer.
