New guy from MD
How's it going folks. I ran track competitively for years throughout school doing short sprints and jumps. I've been on an athletic hiatus for 2 years now and I am slowly getting back into my groove. I don't like running long distances but enjoyed doing long bike rides while training for my cardio so I've decided to invest some time into cycling for an athletic outlet.
I have a low end Cannondale bike that has been neglected and needs some TLC before I can do anything with. Looking to learn some bike mechanic stuff here, find some cool DIY projects, and meet some local folks to roll with (I am in Southern MD, FYI). Mostly interested in tarmac stuff for now. Also trying to keep this on a strict budget since I have a motorcycle habit that is freakin expensive!
