Love my bike
Hi everyone,
I'm a 51 y/o woman living in Michigan. I have been cycling for about the past 10 years, with a 2-year hiatus due to health issues. I want to get back to it but having a hard time finding time to ride working 60 hours a week (squeezed into 4-1/2 days). I work at home so commuting isn't a possibility. I ride on my 2-1/2 days off and can't get my sit bones in shape yet. Working on it. After a few miles it hurts! I currently have my bike in the shop for tuneup and some tips on saddle positioning, etc.
Thanks for having me. Have a great week!

Hello Connie,
Welcome to Bike Forums.
More shorter rides will help the rear get adapted to your saddle.
You work schedule is not in your favor for bike riding.
Do what you can and keep it fun.

Thanks!
Thanks for your comments and for the link to the 50+ forum, 10 Wheels. I will definitely check that out!
Fortunately my hours are a bit flexible so I'm going to try to fit in a 20-30 minute ride in on my lunch hour around my neighborhood.
Have a great week and happy riding!

Hi Connie. I have family in White Lake; hope to get in some riding when I visit in June. Are you wearing bike shorts? (Hope that doesn't sound too basic.) As 10Wheels says, keep it fun. That is too bad about your work schedule.
