Howdy from THE OC!....maryland that is....
Greetings everyone
Welp my name is Shawn, i'm 28, tipping the scales at a featherweight 360lbs lol. I was at 410 last year. I keto dieted down to 330 and started to slip last summer around sept. But then started to do alot of weight lifting. I want to up my cardio and get back on diet and the stationary bike bored me to tears. So i just purchased a 2012 Giant Sedona ST. I did swap the saddle for an extra wide schwinn seat until my sit bones toughen up. I've been riding all of 6 days now. I started at 2 miles but did 6.5 last night. Only thing holding me back is muscle soreness at top of knees but i'm told that will go away in time. I've been lurking around here and i guess i'm cconsidered an uber clydesdale?
As for non cycling interests, I'm a fan of cars, from imports to hotrods if its clean and fast i love it.
I'm also a Homebrewer and have been brewin beer for aabout 3 years. I work at a homebrew shop in Milsboro De called Xtreme Brewing.
Also am very into Asatru/heathenry
Well thats about all i can say about me
I'm glad to be a member and lookin to learn alot and make cycling a lifestyle more than a hobby
