Hello from beautiful Washington, Mo!
I am new to riding. I bought a Trek 1.5 because I know so many people into cycling and thought, hey, why not me too? Good exercise and easier on the knees!
I also got a Scwinn Sporterra Comp to ride on the Katy Trail. So far, most of my rides have been 10-20 miles but looking forward to stretching it out a little. Just a little nervous about riding with experienced riders and lagging way behind. I've got a lot to learn, so looking forward to the journey.

Hi moppeddler,
Welcome to Bike Forums.
Takes a few miles to be able to hang with the vet riders.

Used to live not too far east from you.
Katy Trail can be fun, but crushed limestone trails are tough on the drive train.
Welcome.
