I just recently just bought a bike an 09 DB Edgewood. I just expected to ride around the neighborhood to get in better shape, but now I find myself going places I shouldn't, and trying to buy other bikes...

I feel in much better shape than I have in a decade...

First of all, welcome to Bike Forums. You have got to go check out craigslist where you're at. I'm so pissed my father-in-law won't go check out and buy the bikes I send him to there. Copperas Cove has the best hill, imho, and is right on your back door. For mountain biking, BLORA is open on post and has a wonderful trail (if its still maintained).

Bike shops are all owned by the same guy, Ross. He's a bit of a dick, but he's got a good staff.

Waco is just up the road and has more riding options and races.

I miss my old haunts.

Thanks for the welcomes. Yeah CL is usually very busy with stuff soldiers don't want to take to their next duty station put it in storage. I have been riding around the house and looking toward adventuring further out soon.
