New guy in town
Hey everyone, new guy here. I used to ride bikes for years (BMX) however have gotten a little older, a little more fragile. I just can't pedal around on a small bike anymore.
So.. yesterday I bought a bike off Craigslist to ride around town on. It was advertised as a fixed gear, but when I got it I discovered you can actually coast on it and it has a coaster brake. I never wanted a fixed gear bike to begin with, I was planning on removing the coaster brake and just getting a single handbrake for the rear. But I may stick with the coaster for a while, even though I haven't ridden one in years (Probably 15+ years) and am not sure how effective it will be for me. Haha.
