Happy New Year from Cape Cod
Hi all,
Long-time lurker here, roadie, finally registered on the forum. 'Sbeen eighteen days since my beloved Bianchi Eros Donna gave its life to save mine when a car sped through a stop sign and cut me off. Typing one-handed due to a broken finger, and hobbling on a still stiff knee, but grateful it wasn't worse. And looking forward to a new bike (maybe another Donna -- it fit my 5'2" self perfectly, although I haven't decided for sure) and another riding season just around the corner.

Sorry to hear about the accident, but welcome to the forums!
It sounds like you've got a good sense of humor about that accident. Personally, I'd be furious! I hope your new bike is ever the faithful companion, and should you need it, it will gladly place its life down for yours.
