Yo, we got a FNG over here
Wassup Bike Forums my name is Kevin. I hail from Southern California and now that the beautiful spring weather is here I thought that I would finally get into building a single speed fixed gear bike on the smallest budget possible. I also plan to commute to work on this bike. The only bike I currently have at the moment is a old school Haro race bike that is in need of some work. The wheels don't spin freely, probably needs a bearing clean/regrease inside the hubs and maybe the freewheel/crank but I don't have the nice flat wrenches and grease gun to do it myself properly so it's sitting for now. I don't know anyone really in my area that rides SSFG so I came here and found that you guys have a section dedicated to it! Freakin' AWESOME, this is gonna save me a bunch of headaches with the build process! I must also add that I am definitely not the most educated person when it comes to bike mechanics so any information that could be provided to me on this forum would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my intro.

Thanks for the welcome 10 Wheels. I sure will, not only will I be able to get my cardio up and get back in shape, I will also be getting into a new hobby while beating $4.XX gas prices! So I will definitely have plenty of fun with the rebuild. Looking forward to all of the long rides ahead of me. Thanks again!
