Hi bicycle world

Its been 12 years since I last rode a bike and I just recently bought one to get back into it. I purchased a men's 26" Mantis Ghost mountain bike. Here is a pic of it below:

It rides good but needs some upgrades such as a new seat that won't make it feel like I am sitting on spiked steel, I am thinking maybe I should have gotten a lighter bike as this one comes in at 40 pounds. All in all its a pretty good bike.

Anyway, hi!

Welcome to Bike Forums.

Nice lookin bike.

Try riding with the saddle level and make adjustments from there.

What do you mean saddle level and make adjustments? I don't know anything about bikes but how to pedal them.

Howdy!
What 10 wheels is referring to is the nose(front part)
of your seat is angled up. Try making it level with the
back part of the seat and see if that is more comfortable.
If you don't know how to do it, post some close up shots
of the bolt(s) holding the seat to the seat post and I'm
sure we can give you the instructions.

Ahh ok. Thanks! I'll see what I can do and try it out. I know for sure I will want a seat that allows for comfort for long time riding (over 20 miles).
