Hey Fellow Riders, Derek Here
Hey everybody, just wanted to introduce myself to this wonderful site. My name is Derek, I am 29 years old from Grand Island, NE. Love Biking and everything about it. Right now thinking about purchasing my first road bike, as now I have a 2010 Trek 3500 3 Series MTB. I have road slicks with the presta valve conversion. Other then that, its my commuter and only bike right now. It has been on some long rides but I am just ready to upgrade to the road bike. The trek is great for commuting and hauling my little ones around. Well now im rambling, but its an honor to be here, and look forward to learning more. Thanks everyone

Your mountain bike is a lot like mine, and any road bike is gong to feel pretty slick in comparison. Love those hard, skinny tires. Losing 12 pounds or so doesn't hurt, either.
