Hello from Overland Park KS!
Just getting started, browsing bikes, and stumbled upon the forum. Seems like a great resource.
I'm looking at getting something to commute to work, run errands, visit friends, etc. Basically looking to replace my car with the bike.
I'm in love with the Trek Transport (especially the Transport+) but a bit out of the price range I'm looking to spend. Now I'm looking to convert over a hybrid into a heavy duty hauler and commuter, maybe even attach a cargo trailer, we'll see.
I also brew beer and work as a credit analyst at a freight brokerage.

Thanks man, I'm waiting to get my bike, I decided on the Giant Roam 1 Hybrid-Road, I went to my LBS which is a Giant dealer and found the PREFECT bike today (the aforementioned.) I'm just waiting to sell my motorcycle (Honda Rebel 250) to get some cash so I can buy. No takers on Craigslist (strange as it is low mileage well maintained) but thinking I'll go to the dealer this weekend and just cash out, we'll see.
