Glad to join the forums from Northern Michigan

Hey bikers across the world. Proud owner of a Trek 8000 last year and just bought a 2012 Caad8 6 today for my increased road biking time. Looking forward to keeing up with my new passion here! :)

Hey Web, nice to meet you. I'm actually a troll, but only an hour south of the bridge so most of my riding is in the Gaylord/Petoseky/Traverse City Area. Going to the UP in a few weeks though, so hoping to do some single tracks or road biking around Houghton. Graduated from MTU in the 90's, but still try to get back up there every 3 or 4 years.

Where abouts in the UP did you grow up?

I grew up in Chassell, near Houghton. My mom worked at MTU until she retired about 10 years ago. Enjoy your trip to the UP. :-)
