new Randonneur

Lots of tri's and four centuries done. I (age 64) have done four permanents; two of 120k and two at 220k. The last ten miles of each 220 was on vapor. I'm trying to imagine a 300k and right now I can't. Is it my weekly regime, nutrition or what?
How do I get to a 300K?

Hydration, nutrition, pacing, and a strong desire to finish. Don't allow yourself to get to the point of running on vapor. That means figuring out what foods work for you in the long haul.

Oh, and welcome to BF and to randonneuring.
