Need A Bike Forum Home
Howdy folks!
I am a 51 year old diabetic. I ride for life! My riding is exercise that helps keep me going. It is also an exercise that I really enjoy. I am also getting into the mechanical side of bikes, and have an interest in maybe trying a custom build. I currently have 5 bikes, but more on those later in other sections.
Hope to make some new bike friends here. Who knows, maybe see some of you on the trails around Washington,D.C.
LATER, g

Last couple months I have been riding 5 to 8 miles every day, with 26 mile rides on Saturday & Sunday. I have to learn this carb counting....new to me. Sleep & repeat I can handle.

Congrats, 10 Wheels! You ever heard of Corsicana, Tx? That's where I grew up. Been living in Maryland for about 19 years now.

Welcome! Cycling has helped to keep mine at 5.9 for the last year. Watch what, when, how much, and why you eat as well as ride and hopefully you'll be able to control yours as well. Ride your bike for the fun of it and accept better health as a bonus.
Lots of friendly folks in the Clyde and Athena forum and I keep hearing about this 50+ forum but I'm too young to go there. Jump in and have fun.
