Help and a howdy from Davis, CA
Hello World!
First actual post after reading bikeforums.net for a long time. I'm excited to become more of a part of this community but bring some bad news. I've recently had my road/tri bike stolen from my house. It was a Tsunami Compact 3, lugged full carbon frame, around 58 cm. Shimano Ultegra components and a mavic ksyrium wheelset. This bike was relatively new to me and I did not have any pictures/serial number. I don't know if people have any recommendations on how I may go about tracking it down? I've been scanning craigslist and ebay a few times a day. Furthermore, I was wondering how other cyclists secure their bikes. This was stolen out of the pantry of my house near the back door. I don't want to be OCD about locking bikes inside (even though more precaution should have been taken), but this is still ridiculous. Anyway, thanks a lot and happy cycling. |
Welcome aboard!! Sorry about your stolen bike!! At times I think there is no secure place left in our lives! Good look on finding your bike!!

I've been there as well... I lost two bikes so far due to theft... that's why I have my competition bike, which i keep locked away for special occasions, and my commuting bike, which isn't as nice, but is less likely to get jacked
