Umm, hello, or something.
Howdy folks! I've been stalking you for awhile now, trying to learn all your little secrets, but for no apparent reason, I've decided to join your forum, & actually interact, & attempt to be somewhat social. I've never been REAL big into bikes, but have been dabbling pretty heavily since about the mid-90s. I guess I wanted a cyclocross-type of bike all along, but with flat/rizer bars instead of drop bars, but noone made them in a readily available to the masses form, so I've been trying to make my own, LOL. I finally settled on a Cannondale Silk Road 500, not even really very close to "stock" anymore, but I like it quite a bit. But now, just this month, I've aquired 2 (two) bikes that could only be described as classic road bikes, an Italian-made Frejus Campimissimo, from the late 60s or early 70s, and just yesterday, a Bertin, which is a French bike from the mid-late 70s, and probably a C-37. I guess I'd like to learn as much as possible about both, as they're both "fairly" rare, from what I can tell. Anyways, I thought I'd say hello, hi, & howdy first, so as not to seem TOO rude.
