Newbie.
My wife and I purchased a used co-motion speedster in Sept. It's something I wanted to do together. We both have rode bikes, but we're two different types of riders. After talking to other tandem couples, I finally convinced my wife to do a test ride. We were both kind of nervous, but after an hour we made a deal and have never regretted it. Now my wife says that she is enjoying biking more, since she isn't busting her butt trying to keep up with other riders. Now they have to keep up with us. I am looking to retire this coming year and I know there will be alot more biking as one in our future. I have already ordered some upgrades for the bike. Can't wait to see the differeence

Welcome Charlie! Tandem bikes are always sweet in my book, it is a great excuse to get your spouse to tag along! :D
Cycling is definitely on my lists to do more of when I finally get to hang up the work duds for good. In addition to enjoyment and happiness, it's also good for your health! Enjoy your stay! P.S. I have a good feeling your wife is going to build up an endurance and pretty soon'll find a single rider bike less challenging. :thumb: |
