Hello - Newbie in love with Raleigh 3-speeds
 

Hey there! I'm fairly new to riding. I so enjoy running errands on my bike and meeting up with my girlfriends for a bite to eat . . . all of us wearing dresses and riding our bikes. It feels so romantic and European! I alternate my time between Phoenix and Southern CA. Of course I had to have a bike after my first summer in SO Cal and chose a Townie. After discovering Lovely Bicycles (which led me to Bike Forums), I have absolutely fallen in love with vintage bikes . . . Raleigh 3-speeds to be more specific. At this time I'm on a quest to find one. I look forward to someday being one of those weathered and smiley elderly girls cruising around the community on a lovely vintage bike. Thanks for letting me introduce myself!

Welcome to Bike Forums, Nance!! I love that kind of riding, I don't have an old vintage bike that I can do it on but I use my Trek Navigator (I call it my old cruiser) for that. So nice to be able to just roll along and enjoy your surroundings.
