The Lakes I ride around (or more accurately 'over') are in the north of England. I've spent the past two years being reminded how lucky I am by riding with a guy from Mystic CT. He has the weather but we have the terrain. Recent rides have been the 'Fred Whitton Sportive' (30% climb at 100 miles) and 'Walney to Wear'. Great site with solid advice has taken me one step further than any other forum site. Glad to be aboard.

Welcome Lakes Road from Las Vegas! Those are some nice hills surrounding those lakes. You should GPS and map your rides to compare your superior performance with each ride like we do here in our valley that goes from 130 feet below sea level to 10k ft with 60 different peaks. Beautiful Firth Wood by NadieGate! Our desert is never that green

Hi Lynn, a Garmin 500 is on my xmas list. Thought i'd check your mountainous playground on Google but 'NadieGate, Las Vegas' drew a blank!
