Intro from SoCal
Hi All,
New guy here from Southern California. Newly back to cycling, trying to get into better shape. I am riding a Trek 2.1. Currently working toward riding the Tour of Long Beach in May, hopefully the 62 mile route. Then on to a November century in Oceanside. At least that is the goal. Thanks for letting me hang out.

Welcome to Bike Forums, snidely! You're definitely in the right place. There's tons of great info on getting back into cycling and gearing up for all sorts of riding in the Road Bike forum.
Cheers!

Welcome snidely.
The Tour de Long Beach. Shoot! That's next door. Hope they have an over 60 class. :-D
Really, I'll check the web on that one.
Thanks
