Hello from VA
I'm new here, looking for info on road biking and found this forum. 50+ rider, have a trek MTN bike but shopping for a new road bike, there are more roads than trails here. Going to try RAGBRI this summer. Hopefully the weather breaks soon so I can get out. Looking at Trek Ion and Domane and Madone.

Hello back from a fellow 50+er and a fellow Virginian! Have you biked Fountainhead? I've read some good things. We have a couple rail trail, canal trail rides scheduled up your way. Check out SVBC for lots of great Mountain Bike trail info. (Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition).

I've only ridden on the W O D trail and the C&O canal path. I will have to look up Fountainhead and see where it is. and also SVBC.
