Hi
Hi, I'm Chris, am 31 and I live in London, UK. I am currently visiting family in Chicago and would like to explore the possibility of cycling to Chicago, either from NY or Montreal. I have done solo cycle trips before, most recently from London to northern Spain and love the sense of adventure. I currently ride a Boardman CX, which I brought specifically so I could do more solo trips. I love it dearly and it is great on the streets of London too.
I wanted to join this site to try and get some help in planning my trip. I know little of America and even with Google's help I am struggling to get my head round the best routes to take. I'm nervous about cycling on American roads as my experience so far (limited) suggests not the best road surfaces and trucks the size of small countries tearing past you at 60!
Looking forward to chatting more.
Chris

Welcome Chris. You seem to have already experienced American cycling. All I can say is you get use to it:-)
